My work basically depends upon the questions I keep on asking myself whether it be about our existence or why things are the way they are. I prefer working in charcoal medium more than any other mainly because it demands a tonal variety when it comes to creating depth or a 3D effect which really makes me see things in a different manner when rendering objects. Mainly I like to draw the natural elements present around me and what has attracted my attention the most are mainly the tree branches, trunk and the twigs. The diverse patterns and textures I observe on them is what actually keeps up the interest and work going. Plus I actually feel the medium best suits rendering these branches and twigs.
