Wood and Paper 2020

Wood and Paper 2020
when I first started experimenting with materials and their significance in the foundation year of my course I realized there was much more to experience and explain in the works of space and materiality. my works are bits and pieces of coexisting items which are also a juxtapose to each other's properties. even in the walk of life and philosophy, the concrete world of material is backed with the abstraction of ideas. the arrangement of my work is not schematic and I believe that a viewer must feel curiosity to explore and interact with the work on his own.
nature-- especially trees-- has been a great source of drive for me. the innocence of nature provides me to play with and sport at the ultimate level of creativity that I believe is Leela. and when I perceive this in nature, trying to imitate a picture of imperfection to perfection, I end up as a 5-year-old kid lost in an infinite sandbox of ideas and thoughts, and to create and explore them I jump and leap, leap and jump. a replica of innocent performance--nay, Leela-isn't it? who represents whom? is it the artwork that is I or am I the artwork that it is? how the dancer can be distinguished from the dance? creativity ones up everything.
