But where do all the pigeons go? They sit over the porch building and keep moving from one building to another. My eyes would follow them restlessly break the inertia – be it from the windowpane to the balcony, the terrace, or merely resting on the power line. My inspiration gets triggered usually by staring at the surrounding houses or by unintentionally observing the peculiar spaces in my vicinity. Moreover, the shadows play a significant role in my exploration of spaces and thus, in my practice of developing the works into abstraction. Observing plays of light for a prolonged period and how it naturally divides the space, focusing on these phenomena makes me feel both tranquil and unusually excited. I feel I am spotting something that is mysterious to my cognizance.

I tend to employ lines and layers of various mediums and architectural patterns to illustrate the surroundings and the corresponding internal musings. I believe that my work – in the form of the crude inventories of objects, drawings, paintings, prints, found medium, photographs, and other means – is an improvisational site, which resonates with the energy of the man-made world. What I relentlessly attempt to capture is the reality of constant flux and an incomplete situation to get at the rapture of seeing.
