Da Vinci once quoted - "The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding". I follow the similar principle of perception in my own terms. There are varied kinds thoughts and assimilation of ideas surpassing me on day-to-day basis. What I observe, learn, understand, perceive, retrospect and reflect is what I bring on my blank canvas. Natural elements, Daily life objects, the joy and emptiness within them, and human
figuration are common layouts of my work. My paintings revolve around the idea of human emotions, tragic episodes, the reason behind human's particular behaviour and what leads to misery of a soul.
Betrayal, possesion, jealousy, killing innocence, dominant society and their unrealistic behavior are common problems we face today. The rich becomes more rich and poor becomes more poor(people are rich and poor in many ways. not just money). The emotional turmoil is still rolled between both. I try to highlight similar scenarios in my work. The innate nature of living beings and their attempts to survival
are genres of my interest.
The medium I often use are charcoal and oil. I also dye my cloth or canvas before begining to paint. This helps me bring out a particular character and tone.
